How To Edit A Campaign, Changing Campaign Versions, Editing A Contract

In Notabli, editing an existing campaign allows administrators to update compensation and performance metrics, refine stage-specific data validation rules, refresh sales scripts, and adjust agent group access permissions without disrupting ongoing work.

1. Accessing Campaign Settings

  1. From the primary contract view, scroll down to the Campaigns section.

  2. Locate the target campaign (such as Gorgeous Cleaning Services V1) and click the blue Edit button next to its name.

  3. You will be directed to the Edit Campaign configuration screen.

2. Tweaking Bonus: Adjusting Stage Metrics and Structural Limits

The Stages section displays the locked pipeline workflow established when the campaign was first built:

  • Pipeline Structure is Locked: Stage names and the sequential order of your pipeline cannot be altered once created, and new stages cannot be added to an existing campaign. If your workflow requires additional stages or a different pipeline sequence, you must create a new campaign from the contract dashboard.

  • Editable Metrics: While stage structures are fixed, you can modify the stage economics and payouts across campaign versions:

    • Credits/hour: Adjust the hourly credit burn rate allocated for agents working in that stage.

    • Credits/delivery: Modify the credit cost triggered upon successful completion or delivery of a deal milestone.

    • Agent bonus %: Update the bonus multiplier percentage applied against an agent's base rate for completing stage objectives.

3. Changing Required Information Or Specific Qualification Criteria: Tweaking Metadata and Setting Completion Criteria

The Metadata section lets you manage the data points captured during deal progression and enforce strict handover requirements:

  • Adding or Removing Metadata Fields: Use the Add existing metadata dropdown to attach additional company or contact fields to the campaign, or click Remove beside any field you no longer need.

  • Configuring Completion Criteria: Each stage column displays a target icon next to every metadata field. Clicking this icon opens the Completion criteria modal to define conditional rules:

    • Is not empty: Makes the field mandatory before a deal can be advanced through that stage (e.g., requiring Direct Phone number before handing off from Telemarketing).

    • > Greater than / < Less than: Establishes numeric thresholds (such as minimum deal sizes or employee counts).

    • = Equals: Enforces specific values or categorical inputs.

    • None: Keeps the field optional for that specific stage.

4. Changing Versions Of The Script: Updating Call Scripts and Agent Instructions

Editing a script will automatically keep track of which version applies for qualification purposes. Campaign instruction boxes provide agents with context, rebuttals, and guidelines while working deals:

  • Rich Text & Script Editing: Use the inline editor to paste or edit call scripts, pitch frameworks, qualifying questions, and objection handling notes.

  • Formatting Controls: Format text with bolding, lists, hyperlinks, tables, and blockquotes using the top toolbar.

  • View Modes: Use the bottom-right toggles to switch between the raw Markdown input and the live WYSIWYG preview to verify how formatting displays to agents.

5. Adding Agent Groups and Saving Updates

  1. Scroll to the Assigned agent groups section to grant team members access to the campaign:

    • Select the relevant group (e.g., Management) from the Agent group dropdown.

    • Designate whether access applies across All stages or a specific workflow phase.

    • Select their access level under Permission (such as Edit or View) and click Add.

  2. (Optional) Select Save as template if you want to store your updated configurations for future campaign builds.

  3. Click the blue Update button in the bottom-right corner to save and apply all modifications.
